And why? Because, she told a Phildaelphia DisruptHR audience a few months ago, “If you are comfortable, you are not learning.”
With a slide of faces up on the screen behind her, Poulson said, “This is the C-suite where I work. If I am pushing those people to think differently about the employee experience… and making them feel uncomfortable, that’s a win.”
Don’t interpret as thinking Poulson wants HR people to be outrageous or rebellious. Not at all, listen to her 5 minute presentation and you’ll be inspired to push, even a little, out of your comfortable zone to be innovative.
