When it comes to recruiting, hiring, onboarding, or any process that’s important to your organization’s success, here are five questions to ask and answer on a regular basis:
- How do we do it now?
- Why do we do it that way?
- If we could start over, how would we do it differently?
- What would we do differently if we were going to change the process?
- What do we need to do or have in order to improve the process and how will we track whether the new way is working?
This was originally published on Mel Kleiman’s Humetrics blog.
Hmmm. I like Mel’s questions and would offer that there is a need to ask these same questions in the ‘voice’ of each stakeholder: recruiter, hiring manager, staffing and HR leaders, Business leader and candidate.
Walking in the stakeholders shoes is the real path to understanding the changes you face.
